This was a great episode to begin the series. I remember when it first aired on Sept. 17, 1978. Even though I was eight, I was hooked! And, I've been hooked ever since. Saga of a Star World is also what some think of as the Battlestar Galactica movie, but scenes from the original airing were cut, plus Baltar gets killed in the theatre movie version.
