episode one help needed

right so ive been trying to get episodes for the new remake of Battlestar Galactica for ages now as people keep telling me that its great but every time i go to watch S1E1 its says at the very start "previously on battle star"

no i cant stand starting to watch something half way through and that just seems like its not the first episode

so could some one tell me if this is the first episode or not...if not where can i find the episodes in order as i really want to watch this

Alan, please don't post over and over. People aren't always on the forum so we can't respond. You just need to post once, and someone will get to you as soon as they are on. Yes that is the first episode of the show. There is the Miniseries before that, which is what the previously on Battlestar is referring to. You don't need to watch it, but I would suggest it.

Your going to want to start with the Mini-series which was shown before the actual series started. Your watching the first episode of the sieries after the mini-series
