In the last episode, (The Ties That Bind) it seems that since the inhibitors were removed from the Centurians that maybe they are starting to develop a sense of self. Example, "Please" is now the "magic word". And when Brother Cavill was being led out of the room we see a Centurion cleaning up that mess of blood & goo, and it makes a quick side glance as Cavill is leaving the room. They no longer are the trained dogs they once used to be. At least not to the degree they once were. Will THEY rebel?

Machines rebelling against their "human" masters? Where have we seen that before?

My logical side is saying we'll see them side with the Twos, Sixes and Eights. Simply because if every Centurion wound up becoming sentient/self aware and then rebelled, they'd likely decimate the humanoid models.

I also don't see this as grounds for the humans joining the humanoid models either. Seeing as how if a bunch of humanoid models showed up looking for sympathy and asylum, we'd probably tell them tough shit. I think the unifying factor between the races will have to be something more profound or more important at least.

"we'd probably tell them tough shit" , and show them the nearest airlock. It just seems that RDM is setting us up for another variable in the whole equation: Sentiant Cylon Centurians.

"Sentiant Cylon Centurians". Try saying that 3x fast. :)

I would tend to agree. However, we could be looking at the context of the "maid' Centurion's look wrong. Perhaps he was giving the old stink..mono eye to the Cavil's. The please thing...I dunno, the Centurions are still soldiers, you don't say please when giving orders. Perhaps the Centurions just don't recognize her as a leader. If they are sentient, they shouldn't be offended when a superior officer gives them orders.

A full Centurion rebellion might drive model unity in some fashion. I'm just not sure how the human models could put up a fight against full scale Centurion revolts.

I can do it!

If they rebel, and the skinjobs have to leave, could we possibly see them (at least six's camp) coming to the colonial fleet for help? Wouldn't that be ironic.
