* They both CLAIM to be 71.
* One holds the rank of Colonial Colonel, the closest approximation of which is U.S Navy captain -- which is what the other one retired as.
* They both married power-hungry blondes younger than them
* They both have a temper that hangs out under the surface -- most of the time
