The Darjeeling Limited I'm about to see very soon. Hope it's worth it :) I love Owen Wilson.
The last movie I saw was "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix" What a crap compared to the book. One good scene in the Department of Secrets and that's all. And again not enough of Severus Snape
Joe Beaudoin Jr.

Movies in the theater: Live Free or Die Hard.
Movies on DVD: "Deathproof" and "Hot Fuzz".
Yeah, I know... last year's stuff. My movie theater is a 30 minute drive from where I live and with the price of gas, the price of tickets, and the price of food, I may as well just wait until it comes out on DVD anyway. :(

Southland Tales
The Darjeeling LimitedThose were the last two I rented from Hollywood Video. Before that, it was Ed Wood's "Night of the Ghouls" (from my own collection) and in theatres: "Doomsday" (same director of "Dog Soldiers" and stars Deep Space Nine's Alexander Siddig).

I'm just back from watching Juno. Great movie but since I've been watching a lot of Arrested Development during the past few days, I kept flashing back to the characters Jason Bateman and Michael Cera played on AD a lot. :)

Saw this twice in my lifetime and I don't want to see this anymore. Great movie but depressive especially after seeing Oświęcim (Auschwitz) camp on my own.
I just finished watchg "100 Days with Mr. Arrogant". Korean comedy :D Very funny movie, sometimes a bit annoying to me but still a fun to watch.

I am so impressed on following scene :
The scene instantly becomes a drunken celebration in the upstairs offices of the D.E.F. where a party is held to honor Schindler's birthday. The factory owner is surrounded by friends, Stern, Goeth, and other SS men. He embraces some of his female lovers - Klonowska and Ingrid. A Jewess from the shop floor is admitted - she timidly approaches and haltingly thanks him, bringing along an even younger girl carrying a homemade cake: On behalf of the workers, sir, I wish for you a happy birthday. In everyone's company (including the top German military), Schindler kisses the younger girl on both cheeks, and then gives the stunned factory girl a sustained kiss on the mouth, followed by heartfelt thanks:
"Tell them thank you from me."

Last movie in the theater: 10000 BC
Yeah, it was really stupid but my dad wanted to see it and since I don't see him all that often, I went with him.
Last movie on DVD: Namasty London (I think that's the title)
It's an Indian movie with the typical Indian movie "break out into a song and dance" parts. They're extremely sappy and goofy but I love Bollywood movies to death. What's weird is I'm not a big Hollywood musical fan.

I'm guessing no one still hasn't seen either movie?
Here's the trailers for both:
Southland Tales (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vtp14ikRvxo) (from the writer/director of Donnie Darko)
The Darjeeling Limited (http://youtube.com/watch?v=aO1bYukdvLI) (from the director of Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou)
Last movie I saw in theatres was "Run, Fatboy, Run" starring Simon Pegg. It was funny, since Pegg wrote part of the story and the two leads are great but... The directing was downright elementary, though what do you expect from the actor who plays Ross from Friends (which I don't watch). If you're expecting something on par with Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz or Space, don't (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7W_sMFoyMs).

I saw the Darjeeling Limited in the theater.. It was.. ok. If you've seen any other Wes Anderson film before you've also seen the Darjeeling Limited.

I guess the movie's just for Wes Anderson fans... Although I did not enjoy Hotel Chevalier.. I think my main problem with the short was Natalie Portman, but my friends agreed it was "arthouse crap."
Personally, I'd recommend skipping it if it's included on your DVD.

I'm not even sure what the last film I saw in the theater was, I see so few these days...maybe it was that Sweeny Todd musical...
And I haven't been getting any DVDs at all lately. Last one I saw was The Fountainhead in December.

Right now, I've been wanting to watch "Wristcutters: A Love Story" which seems enjoyably quirky and funny (it's supposed to be a comedy).
Here's a trailer: trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hd3KsL9oIOg).

"Vier Minuten" (Four Minutes). Just finished watching it and I must honestly say that this was a masterpiece. I've never had so much joy watching a movie.
I saw the trailer a few days ago and I had do have this movie. Since Germany is so "far" from Poland, we don't have many chances to see German movies, what is a pity because this was one of the best stories I saw, so I downloaded it yesterday. I'm starting to like German movies :).

Darjeeling Limited was… ok, kind of like The Life Aquatic without Bill Murray, if you can imagine how mediocre that would have been then your there.
I have heard really good things about Southland Tales
I just watched Orson Wells 'A touch of Evil' its VERY good.

This is a TV series, but currently watching on my local cable channel Spielberg's "Taken". Last watched "Acid Tests" - maybe this is episode 4. Sure hope the series doesn't go further downhill in predictability.
The last movie I watched in a cinema was "The Golden Compass" in the States. Thinking of watching the 4th IJ movie with my wife (after the initial hoopla).
The last movie that moved me was "The Lives of Others". I was fascinated with the gradual humanization of the Stasi officer and his attempts to make wrong things right, perusing this film over six hours on the airplane. Now can you see why I don't watch BSG?

Indiana Jones 4 which was lame. Iron Man which was rocking.
Be Kind Rewind was pretty good, surprisingly. But I love both Mos Def and JB, so maybe I was biased.

Can't remember. Once I discovered BSG nothing else will do.
I asked a mate (big US TV fan) what else compares to BSG (I'm not a sci-fi fan). He suggested The Wire, The Shield and Oz.
Any opinions? I need something to bridge the gap between 4.0 and 4.5.

The wire is a really good show. It's well written.
Recently, I watched Dancer in the Dark. Any Bjork fans out there? She won best actress for the movie in cannes and the movie itself won best picture. That movie was the most brutal musical I've ever seen. I cried buckets and I'm still feeling down right now and singing the songs in my head.

I like Bjork too.
I have seen Dancer in the Dark a couple of times now and it is quite possibly the most harrowing movie i have ever seen. it really made me depressed after the first viewing, and it took me quite a while to get over it. I watched it the second time with my unsuspecting girlfriend and she still hasnt forgiven me for it!!!! and that was 5 years ago!!
Bjork is absolutely AMAZING in the film. I dont know why she hasnt been in anymore films, she is an extremely talented actress.
