Anyone ever thought about how, if Sci Fi greenlit an animated series of BSG, it should be made?
I think there are several possibilities since animated shows aren't as bound by budget as live-action shows, but then there isn't really very many serious animated shows out there that I know of that aren't predominately comedy, i.e. South Park, The Simpsons, &c (aside from, I suppose, anime)..
I also really don't want them to water it down for younger audiences (i.e. Sci Fi re-launching The Animation Station (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Animation_Station), their old Saturday morning cartoon block, with BSG: The Animated Series as its flagship show).
I'm doubtful that it will ever happen, seeing since Sci Fi didn't pick up fantastic (imo) pilot of "The Amazing Screw-On Head (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5434666681046246946&q=The+Amazing+Screw-On+Head)" for a series (I still loathe their choice to this day) and their decision to make "Eureka" a live-action show since it would reach a broader audience.
