For those of you who want to see what a horrible story looks like in script form, BattlestarPegasus.com has the scripts to both parts of "The Super Scouts" on the site.
Check them out by clicking here (http://www.battlestarpegasus.com/wiki/Portal:Time_Machine)!
(Oh, and apparently Major Goofball (http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Major_Goofball) has a name! Who knew!?) :yikes:

Does the script come with a spoon so I can gouge my eyes out afterwards? If not, I'll just use my fingers. I'm just asking out of a matter of convenience.

It's all hands on... Commander's Orders.
You need to use your own fingers. Sorry.

I think I need more alcohol. God damn. People told me Galactica 1980 was bad, but I never believed it until now.

I wonder what a Colonial was like in bed on Galactica 1980 style?? Did they have any 'super powers'? ;)

So, just how terrible is 1980? Are we talking "fascinating like a train wreck"?

Haha, if I ever watched it, it was in the darkest depths of my childhood. I've probably blocked it from my memory, lol. I think I'll avoid anything associated with it, I have enough horrible images in my head.

It's the second worst television show in history of television. Only because no one has yet filled the number one shot...
Think of 1980 as a confluence of all biblical plagues, mixed in with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, starring Ron Jeremy, John Tesh, Hannity & Colmes, Ann Coulter, Michael Moore, Al Franken, and Bill Gates/Steven Palmer stuck in a room together with instruments of pain and destruction, with guest appearances from Britney Spears and the Backdoor Boys/N*Suck while receiving horrible service at Best Buy, and you have Galactica 1980.

Heh, no wonder virtually all TOS fans treat it as non-canon, then
