I've been thinking about changing the music player I use. I was curious as to what everybody uses and what people think of different programs?

Depends on your computer's operating system and what file formats you have your music in. Is your music collection in OGG, MP3, or another format?

Seeing as I use a Mac, I use iTunes.

Now, when I used Linux, I primarily used XMMS... it's like Winamp, before Winamp became AOL-endorsed bloat ware.

For Windows, you can use iTunes as well. That's probably got the least bloat of any software I know of... but I don't use windows that much, but I'm sure someone will pipe up with more suggestions. :)

You know, you're so right. I should mention I use Windows XP lol. Yeah I'm trying iTunes right now. My dad suggested it. And yes, Mp3 is most of my music. A little bit of it is other types but I think I got all that I could converted to Mp3.

Try out AIMP2 (http://www.aimp.ru/index.php?action_skin_change=yes&skin_name=english)

It's a 3MB freeware Russian clone of WinAmp. Don't let the web page scare you off, the player itself comes in english (and other languages)

Or try giving WinAmp a makeover, here's my favorite two DSP plugins:

Audioburst PowerFX2 (http://www.qolabs.com/audioburst/) - psychoacoustic saturated sound without distortion
iZotope Ozone (http://www.izotope.com/) - (OzoneMP) digitally models analog acoustics, for a warm vacuum tube amp or hi-fi sound - Apple and Linux software available there too
