Year Two Proposal

Thanks to the efforts of Peter Noble and Joao Ventura, Battlestar Pegasus now has a digitized version of a document (http://www.battlestarpegasus.com/wiki/Battlestar_Galactica:_Year_Two_Proposal) written by Glen Larson detailing the changes he would have made to a second season of Galactica.

I've confirmed that the text of the document is genuine, although the pictures and stamping are mere embellishment added by Chris Larson (Glen Larson's son).

I tried watching the original series and couldn't get into it at all. However, this proposal is quite interesting.

That was very.....diffrent from what we had with the orignal BSG and would probably have been.....not good. But there were to many of the hey look we found a planit with more humans on it, plots which just dont work for Battlestar.

Yeah, I agree... This is pretty horrendous. Some of the concepts made it to 1980, and to Buck Rogers, it seems.

Anyway, I will agree with the whole "planet of the week" thing... but that was pretty common science fiction fare in those days, and that didn't get changed much until Babylon 5.
