Since it's a great show and I want to get my gf more into the show (we watched a few episodes along TV Links (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV_Links), until the uploaded episodes were truncated), I was wondering what's the best way to watch?

Originally, I was leaning towards purchasing the first season on DVD however:
1. Said set is no longer available.
2. They seem to have the entire series cut up into Starburst Editions that make the idea seem not so economically favourable.

I've heard from SyFy that iTunes recently acquired the show, although have yet to announce a release date.

Well, you could always get them used (or new) at Half.com (http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-2658714-204382)...

Compared to the other options (especially the UK sets for example), the Starburst editions are actually pretty cheap, despite being broken up. And they're really the best as far as extras are concerned.

The only problem is that season 1 is out of production, and thus a bit hard to get; not to mention potentially expensive. But there might be some shops that still have some stock.

Hey! :-)

As Farscape is really worth watching... screw the costs. ;-) Did you try the amazon marketplace?
