So... contact lenses...

I'm on a 2 week trial right now from Specsavers so im still getting used to them but i'd like to know other peoples experiences with them. Daily disposables (what ive got) as opposed to monthlys etc.

They still feel a bit weird atm but they arnt uncomfortable.

I paid for my wife's eyes to get lasered (before we were married, actually) rather than have to watch her poke herself in the eye... but that's just me. ;)

Bah, just swap 'em out. (They ARE still under warranty, right?)

(Maybe something along the lines of Minority Report...)

The scene when he eats the mouldy sandwich and gone-off milk is possibly the best scene in the movie :D

I used the daily disposables for years. They're the healthiest for your eyes because they don't build up dirt/fungus/bacteria/whatever and they don't get scratched, so they're less likely to hurt your cornea.

I got custom-epi-LASEK (sadly, not nearly as quick or painless as LASIK) to meet USAF requirements, so no more lenses for me :)

It was really great, plus TLC > All. I checked out Bascom Palmer too, which is supposed to be one of the best places to do it, but TLC was way better. TLC had the nicer facility plus they treated me like a prince. Bascom Palmer just ignored me for about two hours while I was getting evaluated.

I like my glasses, so I'm good with them for now.
