View Full Version : Blindingly obvious announcements and something about voting?

Maybe I was the only one who noticed this, but during the commercial breaks, they kept announcing blindingly obvious things that you must know if you were watching the show...and then near the end, they said, "The votes are in, most of you correctly identified that..." and they said the stuff that they had just announced after it had happened right in front of us.

Am I missing something? Or is this as frakked up as it sounds?

My reaction was the same as yours. Apparently there was some sort of vote...

Not that I really care that there was a vote, but the whole frakking Quiznos thing really frakked up the viewing experience for me.

Those spots are referring to a poll added to Sci Fi's Razor page about a week ago:

http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/razor/poll/

"Watch Battlestar Galactica: "Razor" this Saturday to see all the votes and find out which ones were right!"

That makes just a little bit more sense than before.

It's still stupid, but in a less haphazard way.

Still, that didn't negate the fact that it was annoying.

Did it have any purpose?

It's not like Quiznos needed that nonsense to buy sponsorship. All they had to do was send SciFi a check and have them say "Razor is brought to you buy Quiznos" at the beginning of the commercial breaks.

It has no purpose, other than to annoy the crap out of the viewers.
