Ie, that the "end" or "closure" were all duscussing may not be ONE... For instance that faith aspect....

The universe is how you (you, as in, you the characters on the show in this case) CHOOSE to percieve it, and there is not one single door everyone walks through at the end of the show, but two (or more).

One group chooses to go and be with "god", whils the other chooses not to, and to take on a more mechanical existance, "ie, cavilistic". This could be a fleet dwelling man, or 0005 centurion. and each ones universe then corresponds with how they percieve it. I think there was something to be said about the fact that Hera can project, and they made a point of it. Is it because, she gained projection through her hybrid nature, or is it that humans DO project? (this is something hat can be loosly associated with particle physics i suppose)

Or apart from that, if its not the case...

Just that multiple theories on here could simultaneously be right..... Hence the portrayal of a kind of :open: ending.....

I should note that it would be a splitting, but not ins the same sense that it "has happened before and will happen again"

Or

Is that the thin veil which allows the cycle to happen over? ultimatly it isnt about man or cylon but wars of faith......

I managed to get a leaked script. This is what happens.

MAJOR SPOILERS

The episode will start with Tigh killing Adama and covering it up and becoming the Admiral. Lee will insist he should be Admiral and spends the rest of the episode of deciding whether or not to kill Tigh. Starbuck will commit suicide since Lee is too concerned with revenge to worry about her. Lee will kill Hoshi by accident in front of Roslin. At Starbuck's funeral Anders will challenge Lee to a duel which Lee accepts. Anders tries to cheat but it backfires on him and he dies and Lee soon after, but not before he kills Tigh. Roslin dies of cancer.

In the chaos Cavil easily destroys the Fleet, boards Galactica and learns of the previous events from Tyrol (he asked Tory first but she was boring). He destroys Galactica soon after.

The end!
