Does anyone know of any good, yet economical DVD+R DLs? What brand would be my best bet?

Basically, I'm backing up some of my DVDs because I'm noticing that some DVD sets don't have the durability of others, and I would be pissed if I had to go out and rebuy a set just because one disc didn't work.

Ok, I've narrowed it down to two brands: TDK and Verbatim.

So far, TDK seems to get more bang for the dollar, with a spindle of 25 discs. On Newegg, it's $32.99.

Thoughts?

Ok, after reading this guide (http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm), I'm going to get the TDK discs. Apparently they're high quality, so I'm going with that.

I wish I'd found this guide sooner, since that would have saved me from wasting my money on this Memorex garbage. About seven of the discs are now frakking coasters.

Taiyo Yudens are good apparently.

Verbatim are variable. you need to get the 'premium' ones.

TDK? I dunno, but they did good c-90 cassettes.
