Nice! Well, that certainly fits in to the recent information SyFy Portal was able to dig up.

As you might expect, storm clouds are racing across the internet alternately vowing not to watch the show or predicting the show will lose any chance of retaining casual viewers.
Addendum: "I can understand how frustrated everyone is. It is very sad for us that so many here will stop watching the show, and not see the end, because of the decision Scifi has made. But everyone has to do what everyone has to do." - Mrs. Ron
I was about to look for a silver lining, say (post) production delays are behind the scheduling delay, but half the Moore family is fingering Sci Fi management for the date. I'd say she's an informed source.
However, someone has correctly pointed out this will place the latter half of the ten episodes squarely into Nielsen sweeps. And leave a good setup for a mid-season hiatus return debuting squarely into summer sweeps. Wassa point shows over anyways foo!? Ratings still matter a great deal, last season or no.
For many reasons, it is difficult to like and be a fan of this show relative to the ease with which you can enjoy and champion other more mainstream shows. Unfortunately, Sci Fi is frequently the cause.
