Holy frak!

When I saw the classic Raiders and the Vipers (with helmets that had the classic eagle symbol like the Colonial Warrior helmets from TOS), I yelped like a little girl!

That was absolutely beautiful! And Adama was a bad ass fighter, especially for a rookie. Seeing Columbia blow up, ouch. But at least we know more about the ship.

Yeah, it was pretty frakkin' good!

Adama's pursuit of the two Cylon Raiders into the ice planet's atmosphere also reminded me a bit of the "Gun on Ice Planet Zero" bits when the cadets tried to go after the Ravashol pulsar.

Oh man.

After that horribly painful ordeal watching the Indians self-destruct at Fenway park, I was thinking, "Damn, I need some Galactica right now...at least on BSG, even if the whole human race is getting wiped out, the good guys still fight back a LITTLE. Why do I have to wait until January, damnit?"

But hey, then I come home to this! Wheee!

That was a pretty frakking awesome action sequence. The webisode format definitely helps it, it can just have suddenly an action sequence and you don't need much build up or explanation as the viewers will just fill in the blanks.

I'm really impressed with the production values; they were not skimping. No wonder they decided to make these webisodes. Just that action sequence alone was probably expensive enough that you wouldn't leave it on the cutting room floor.

The webisodes are actually from "Razor", but the movie ran too long with them included, so they were ultimately cut out and used as webisode fodder. So that would explain the high quality.

Of course, these flashbacks are reported to be re-integrated into the DVD version of "Razor", which is said to be extended and uncut. So we'll get to see them then as well. :)

It's like watching the original series, except not being ashamed at how camp it is :D
