Not sure if this one will pan out as well...

Vote OFF your least favourite characters one by one. I was thinking of doing a reverse Final Cylon, as in who is not the Final Cylon, but that might work worse than this.

I think we need to vote off something like four per week to get to 16 Jan, so two days per vote on this.

I can add options if you want me to, but they should be for favourite characters (no point in adding someone who'll only last until the next vote).

Right - I think I see how this is gonna go. We might need to have a cull, at some point, of the lesser characters that people are indifferent to, otherwise someone like Seelix or Hera will end up winning.

Let me know who shouldn't be on the list and if there's a groundswell I won't include them in future ballots.

I think everyone in that list is fine. If you were including characters like the tattooed pilot then yeah a cull would be neccessary but I think there's nothing wrong with the list you have. Hotdog, Seelix and Crashdown aren't that significant, so if you're going to prune anyone, prune them.

jmo, but there would appear to be a schism about 1/2 way down the list. the cylons and above are clearly "main" characters. below the cylons you have "minor" characters -- i.e. those that didn't last ling and/or just don't get screen time. perhaps if we let the minor characters fight it out with the prize being ONE of them then advances to fight it out with the lead characters ...

No, that's the point I'm making. I expected the minor characters to fall first but in fact people are voting for who they hate the most, so the inoffensive characters are doing nothing really.

Isn't that the point of the exercise? I see what you mean about the minor characters, but when a minor character is up against, say, the mighty Admiral Adama they'll be voted off anyway.

My only regret is not being able to vote for Cally twice - or twelve. How in the hell are Athena and Cally tied??????

If the only point is to find out who wins, then I don't think it necessary to cull anyone. Hot Dog will fall before Adama. That said, those characters that were "under the radar" will probably last longer than those with more of a chance to annoy so the list may not be in perfect order.

Sonofabitch. I like them all, but Hotdog is kind of a useless tool, with a possible STD so I voted for him. However, it was a tie between him, Seelix, Cally, Boomer, Tory, Billy, and Ellen.
