In the first deleted scene from "Scattered" before the camera moves away from the screen showing Caprica Today, they show this:

With those ugly thorn-like projections and antennae, it looks like a post-modernist version of the Barad-dur. I feel like the Eye of Sauron ought to be blazing between two of the antennae. No wonder the Colonies fell, one of them was accidentally built in Mordor!
