So what did everyone think of the episode "Adrift"?

Typical Stargate fare. Which is to say largely boring.
The first 15 minutes or so are mostly endless technobabble. Then some arbitrary problems to have boring special effects and action sequences for their own sake (which is all the Season 3 finale was).

Some mildly entertaining stuff with McKay, Zelenka and Ronan, but that's it.

I'd have to agree. Having seen the second part of the two parter, I found this to be largely boring. No sense of adventure at all. No sense of, well, risk. Particularly once you knew that Weir was being replaced by Carter anyway.
