The best movie so far this year is the 300. It was very well done, shot mostly on greenscreen and very imaginative.
In all honesty, I felt it was better than Frank Miller's Sin City, and slightly better scripted.
Also, the soundtrack for the movie is pretty solid. Only 11.99 on iTunes.

Not really a big fan of Horror, but if the girl I like wants to see it... I would go. Going to see Shooter tonight, was trying to hook up with the girl I like, but that's a no-go course she could want to see it and I see it again.

It's like a litmus test. If she's scared, she may very well jump in your arms. :-)

I have to see the Battle of Thermopylae in all its ass-kicking glory. Maybe tomorrow.

Personally, I loathed 300. Although my roommate loved it.
I thought most of the action was fairly silly, like that scene of endless slow motion and zooms in and out. Also, all the freakish members of the Persian army. Why are they fighting orcs and cave trolls? And personally, I found the whole Orientalism subtext to the film rather off-putting. All the physically deformed people are part of this decadent, mystical, evil empire, while all the physically people are the supposed bastion of freedom and democracy. Personally, I sided with Xerxes throughout the film.
