It currently seems that President Roslin is not the Dying Leader as previously implied. In result of this, myself and other viewers are left to think, "Okay... if the Dying Leader is not Laura Roslin, then who could it be?" I have taken great deal in considering this, and I've finally worked up the nerve to give my thought on who I think the Dying Leader could be. My guess is that the Dying Leader and the Final Cylon are the same person. I apologize in advance that I don't have exact proof to my source behind my idea, but my source is this: if you watch either the third or fourth episode of season 2 (I'm not positive which one) where President Roslin discusses with the Quorum of Twelve about her possible role in life is being the Dying Leader, does not the notion of whoever the Dying Leader is would lead them to Earth come up? If this notion is correct, and considering the Final 5 are supposed to know the way to Earth and lead the remaining human and/or cylon fleets there, then is it not fair to assume that the Dying Leader and the Final Cylon are one in the same?

The Dying Leader with the wasting disease will not live to enter into the promised land. Earth isn't the promised land. In Fragged, when she's in the brig being visited by the Quorum, Roslin says she is playing the part of "the Leader" and will lead humanity to "salvation". Not Earth.

Nice try, but no banana. .)
