Greetings!
Battlestar Prometheus is a play by email (PBeM) simulation set in the re-imagined universe of Battlestar Galactica! Prometheus was launched in November of 2006, and has since grown to include over thirty members!
If you're interested in simming in the Battlestar Galactica universe, we're just the place for you! We accept both experienced and new simmers, and are always looking for new members to join us.
Here is a brief premise of the SIM:
"In a surprise attack Cylon forces were able to disable and destroy the bulk of the Colonial Fleet. Thirty battlestars were destroyed in the opening attacks, and many more followed thereafter.
The Twelve Colonies of Kobol were subjected to multiple thermo-nuclear attacks that rendered the worlds inhospitable. Most of the population has perished, and the survivors will soon succumb to radiation poisoning. It seems as though humanity's time in the universe has come to an end...
But a single Colonial ship - one of the original twelve battlestars of the colonies - has survived this nuclear holocaust. This ship is the Battlestar Prometheus.
Manned by the crew of the former Battlestar Solaria, the Prometheus is now fighting back against humanity's Cylon aggressors."

We are currently in our second year, and are a very active Battlestar Galactica SIM. On the website you can view the crew roster, SIM timeline (in relation to the TV series), past story lines, and even read some of current and past logs.
