Did you read the first link?
The trailer was ever only screened at conventions with filming not allowed. As a result, it's not on the usual filesharing sites.

To clarify on what Serenity said, Richard had very specific instructions as to how and where the trailer could be presented because of the SAG. People could not video record the trailer, nor could he distribute it to others. He has one of the few copies of the trailer in existence, as far as I know, and he carries it with him to conventions -- at least, last time I heard.

It's a shame because there are a lot of people i'm sure who would like to see it but can't get to any sciffy conventions in the united State, like me. However for copyright reasons I understand why it is not available.

In the infamous Battlestar panel with Jamie Bamber, Hatch, and Douglas at DragonCon (where they noted the 10-episode split idea), I asked the last two questions to the panel, first to Hatch and then the group.
My question, specifically, was "Will the Second Coming trailer ever be available, even stills of it?"
Hatch's answer was that, if you scour the net, odds are you might find a bootleg. Nowandays, he said, he may just get the thing formally released soon for not-for-profit use in some fashion, perhaps through the popular online video means or added to a DVD set.

That'd be an interesting conversation.
"Yeah, I'm really good at looking for stuff like that on the internet, and I've really scoured it and come up with nothing."
I hope he does eventually manage to get it released.
