I really wanted to vote excellent for this episode, but I know there's better to come.

That little sequence from when Leoben strips Kara's soul bare, Baltar identifies that Boomer is a Cylon, Roslin dreams Leoben telling her he has something to tell her, back to Leoben telling Kara she will find Kobol, to Roslin busting the interrogation open... shivers down my backbone.

This was an astonishingly well-executed episode.

Was there the merest flicker of surprise, even recognition, in Kara's response to being shown the photograph of Leoben by Adama?

Kara's words: "I don't have a soul, I have software."

Leoben explaining about the warhead - he made the story up, he was too far from a Resurrection Ship and wanted to buy some time... so is a Resurrection Ship close when he's airlocked? It is mentioned later that he told the Cylons what the president does to them.

And I love the way Leoben flies backwards out of the airlock the same way he flies back into the forest in Roslin's dream near the start.

Music's ace in this episode too.

Oh yeah, and fLEsh and OBEN.

Wonderful episode. Much food for thought. Roslin shows increased evidence of her ruthless streak. Starbuck's weak points come increasingly to the fore. Also plenty of questions for us about the ethics of the use of torture
