Yeah, I suppose. All my friends play it...
Then again, the last MMORPG I played was Bore Wars: Galaxies, so I've been hesitant at joining an MMORPG ever since.

You did not just diss Blizzard. Blizzard is one of the few gaming companies that isn't run by evil skinjobs.

Nah.
I'm waiting for Diablo 3. Provided that I don't have to subscribe to play it, I'm cool.
It took Neverwinter Nights to break my three-year Diablo 2 habit.
Nowandays, I tool around in Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights 2, and have re-downloaded the now-freely playable Marathon games from Bungie (yes, the Halo guys). Play these awesome old-school originally-Mac-only shooters and you'll understand (1) why Bungie rocked long before Halo and (2) More in-jokes in Halo than you ever knew. Marathon invented the shooter LAN game.

I'm looking forward to Diablo 3, if they make it. My game time these days is split between StarCraft, WarCraft 3, WoW, Diablo 2 and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II.

Ok, it doesn't say that he played WoW, but it's possible.
The first comment is pure gold :)
Personally I'm more into FPSs. I ran a pan-European UT clan for many years on and off. We've been inactive for some time now - after people lost interest in UT2004 - but I might start it up again if some of the old-timers are still up for it.

I would just like to remind you guys that WoW is for 12 year old pimply virgins and that railguns the size of a tanker truck beat a "goblin mage" any day.
EVE rules all.
Have a nice day. :)

Mmmm.... Marathon. I have many fond memories of that game. For a few years I worked at a graphic design shop which used Macs. During our lunch break, everyone fired up Marathon and we had massive fragging sessions over the LAN.
As to the original question, I have sold my soul to WoW, too. I just love that game.

There has been so much thread hijacking in this thread!
I've been playing WoW since it came out. I am on Staghelm server, alliance side.
While, we do have some kids that play with us (most playing right alongside their parents), I haven't encountered that many kids in game.
I have a 70 dps warrior, 70 holy/discipline priest, 51 enhancement shammy, and a 34 warlock.
