I just started watching this great series. I'm not a big fan of police procedurals, because they are usually pretty lacking in the character development department. But I do like mysteries, so it's a genre that I do occasionally get sucked into when interesting characters are involved.

And Dexter has them. Dexter is the most obvious, being the vigilante serial killer sharing how a sociopath views the world. But all the other characters also are intriguing. Except for the Latino detective friend of Dexter's, he hasn't done much so far. But I'm only up to the fourth episode, there's plenty of time for him to get some more serious play.

Anyway, anyone else enjoy Dexter? And please, no spoilers.

Dexter is awesome. Showtime really has some great stuff with this show, "Weeds" and "The Tudors".

Michael C. Hall is perfectly cast and really makes the show, although the supporting cast is great too. It's a pretty dark subject matter, but despite that "Dexter" is very funny.

The first two Season 2 episodes are out as pre-airs, and some things there are extremely hilarious again. If the rest of the season is a good, it should be a blast again.
