View Full Version : Final Cylon living on Earth?

I'm sure this has been covered in some other theories here, but is it possible, and doesn't contradict with any other evidence, that the Final Fifth Cylon is on Earth? The final cylon could be living on Earth, perhaps with a small colony of people, and is the one that fixed Kara's ship, and the one that played "All Along the Watchtower" to activate the Cylons hidden in the fleet.

It's possible, but if he/she was on Earth, how would D'Anna know this? She's seen the faces of the Final Five, so for her to know that one of them was not in the colonial fleet at the time she says so, she must know where he/she is, and she wouldn't if the Fifth was on Earth.

Well she only asks for 4 of them, and when Laura asks who the fifth is, she refuses to tell her, she just demands the 4 of them. So the Fifth either isn't in the fleet, or is, and D'ianna just doesn't want it's identity to be known.

But what if the fifth is someone she knew before the cylons attacked the colonies? This would make her apology more telling if it was some cylon from her past...someone we havent seen on the show yet.

Just speculating for the purposes of this thread... ;)

Good speculation. If it was a Cylon she knew from before the attacks, or before her integration into colonial society, and someone she knew had been sent on a mission to find Earth, even before the attacks on the colonies... and she later learned in the temple that this Cylon was one of the Final Five, and then deduced that he/she was therefore likely to know the way back to Earth...

Like the Boomer theory, this Cylon would have to be using a S7 body in order to operate in Cylon society.

I don't think it'd fit some of the extraneous criteria, such as 'the Fifth has been in the show since the first season' because this character would never have been seen until 4.5.

On the other hand, if D'Anna knew this person as a human (like Tigh, Anders, Tyrol and Tory), then she wouldn't have any knowledge of that person being sent to find Earth, and she could only have known him/her during her time in operation in colonial society prior to the attacks, so again, she wouldn't know he/she was on Earth.

I'm really hoping the final cylon is someone new. I literally wouldn't be bothered if any character was a cylon now. After Tigh they can't really top it and I couldn't care less if Adama, Lee, Prez or anyone else was one as being a cylon isn't the giggle it once was now that they've gone emo.

if the by "the apology" you mean in the opera house, i always thought that was tigh sshe was apologizing to because he says it was a three that took his eye.

it has not been definitively stated who d'anna was apologizing to; there is evidence that would support saul and sam; there is no current evidence to support galen or tory; since we don't yet know the 5th there by default is no evidence for that one but nothing to contradict it either ...

Actually, there is a deleted scene that showed a 5 doing it.

I think that D'Anna asked for "four" because the fifth was already there on the baseship with her. Roslin? Baltar? .... ?

or helo or hotdog or any of a couple dozen others ...

one tiny problem with that -- SHE LETS THEM ALL GO once the signal from the viper is discovered. Only the 4 participate in the "deliberation" of what the signal may mean.

/no longer caring one whit who this person is -- want to find out what the deal is with earth and what happens when the cavilites find them -- that's pretty much it for me ...

Yes, it's 99% certain that the Fifth is not in the colonial/rebel-Cylon fleet (1% that D'Anna is aiding him/her to maintain secrecy).
