You're right sorry. I am from the vicinity of (oh frak) Liverpool, which I had up there for a while. It never occurred to me that new members wouldn't know where I was from because everyone does really (you can hear that godawful accent sometimes). I'll change it back.

Who's Jeremy Kyle?

Kobol is a much better place don't you think?

So, reds or true reds?

I used to work on Pall Mall off Tithebarn Street.

Oxford's not so bad. I can think of worse places.

Bird and Baby, ever?

Still not getting the Kyle ref. Nice wife though.

I dont want to interrupt your flirting ladies, but the truest reds of all lifted the cup this summer. Forget total football, salsa football and all the other BS, what we saw this year was football the way God meant it to be played. Passing, movement, teamwork, technique and belief, all lifted to a level close to perfection.

Genji - Torres might get 40 this year.

Zod - losing Ronaldo to Real Madrid wouldnīt be a disaster. Great player but R.M. might be his graveyard. I like Berbatov.

I totally concur with you, Timbo, and i am sick of writing this reply already as my computrer keeps crashing, and this is my 3rd attempt now....

Ronaldo is a a little upstart who deserves nothing more than going to Real Madrid as obviously they are still the powerhouses of European football, a team filled with delights. The only players apart from Raul and Casillas that they have of any note is Van Nistelrooy, where on earth did they get him from????

As you know, timbo, I went to Moscow earlier this year to watch Manchester Utd v Chelsea, in perhaps the greatest spectical of British football ever, and I must admit that Ronaldo does go missing in these big games. OK he scored, but what else did he do??

I have seen this season that

a) he has forgotten how to carry the ball
b) he has lost his dribbling ability
c) he has been given very bad advise on haircuts
d) he is a total primadonna
e) he scores goals (a lot) but he needs service, and as we have a great passing team, he was always going to get this.

So if we get Ģ70m for him, I will be more than happy. It does break my heart to say that. I was at his debut for Utd against Bolton and I must admit that I had, in my life, never seen someone so exciting EVER. Everytime he got the ball, the Utd faithful all got up from their seats, it was unbelievable, remember he was bought to replace David Beckham ( who?? ) who remembers him at Utd now?? No one cares, he was a massive joke at the end, and we were well rid.

My mum is from Madeira, amd knows his family, and she is there at the moment, and the reports are that they (not just his famiily, everone) are all very mad with him for what he is doing to Utd. he is very patriotic, this should have some sway.

Remember also, that despite the fact that Real Madrid have won 1,000 European cups or whatever, they arent all that at the moment. The majority of their Euro cup wins were in the 50's and early 60's, when it was little more than the charity shield.

I think that we should loan him out this season as a punishment, do you think that Leicester City would have him??

who is this Torres you mentioned, havent seen him turn up against Utd this season??? Isnt Torres Spanish for Bull?? I could easily add another word at the end, but , I have sworn enough recently on these pages, and I am trying to change.

rant over...

cheers

footnote:
Oxford is dire, what a craphole. No energy, dirty, and full of tourists. I cant for the life of me figure out what they are here for. they take photo's of the post office?? seriously whats that all about?? the people are boring, the 'medievel' buildings are not medievel, 19th century replicas's, totally crapolla in my opinion, i seriously miss my home city, my girlfriend has a lot to answer for, bringing me down here for her job (which she hates) and she is never here. Wise girl....

another footnote. (seriously need to get a life)

I do go to the Eagle and Child, but it is so small and smells of body odour, The beer is over priced and again full of tourists. pity I'm an alkie, otherwise I wouldnt go within an mousesh*t of it.

I did google it. He's some minor TV presenter on housewife TV. I still don't understand why you brought him up in relation to me.

Donīt get me wrong. Iīm not really keen on Real Madrid. That Galacticos thing was total bullshit. Spanish club football is still full of diving and trickery as well as great football, but the national team were something special this year. Ronaldo might be thick, but he is still too clever to play for Leicester. One of the classics was in our heyday, late nineties run. Robbie Savage took a knock on the head, and the trainer came and said "how many fingers" and Robbie correctly replied "three". "Great, and who is the Prime Minister?". "Dont know", replied Robbie. The Trainer signalled the bench for the substitution to be made. Off he went to hospital, where it turned out he was fine, he just didnīt know who was P.M.

That's hilarious!!! Robbie Savage played in the same Utd youth team as Beckham. it's all tying together nicely, what morons.

How unfair. How should a footballer know who is Prime Minister? We have a monarch to be used for such exemplar questions.

the greatest moment of my young life and I don't even support Man Utd. John Terry's tears hahahahaa. Point at the sky now, Frank.

e) he scores goals (a lot) but he needs service, and as we have a great passing team, he was always going to get this.

Sounds like sour grapes there, General. 42 goals was frankly ridiculous. Saha, Rooney and Tevez get the same level of service right? and Ronaldo is a midfielder as well.

He's a twat for the way he's treating Man Utd but after a season like that you can't really criticise his football. His attitude, hair and stupid neck are all fair game though.

I used to love watching Andy Impey marauding down the right wing for QPR but always used to think 'how great would he be if he had a neck!' but alas he didn't have one. Now when I see that horrible bastard Ronaldo, who IMHO has far too much neck, all I can think is 'you bastard, you stole Andy Impey's neck'.

I think that we should loan him out this season as a punishment, do you think that Leicester City would have him??

I wouldn't wish that on Harold Shipman.

who is this Torres you mentioned, havent seen him turn up against Utd this season???

he needs to go to a proper club. Liverpool aren't ever going to be good enough for a player like that. Even if he does look like a ponce.

Yeah, I remember the mystery of Andy Impeyīs missing neck. There was an outbreak of neck theft around that time. Gladstone Small was also a victim.

Tevez's missing neck is the 8th wonder of the world.
