Ok, so I'm having an annoying issue.

Some time ago I installed Ubuntu (Linux) on my second HDD. In doing so, I created an EXT partition of about 50 gb in the aforementioned HDD. Everything was going alright, the dual boot setup was perfect, even installed a neat driver on Windows that allowed me to access the Linux partition, until something I can't remember happened to my Windows installation (first HDD) and I had to format it and reinstall Windows.

So this deleted the multi-boot information and I wasn't able to access the Linux partition, so I had 50gb I couldn't use. However, I didn't care much for it and let time pass without fixing that issue.

Now, I really need those lost 50gb and I can't have them back. I tried to find that driver I said, but no luck. Installed similar drivers, but they don't do jack shit. Even tried the Ubuntu Live CD, but no luck either.

I don't know what to do and I'm asking for your help to retrieve those 50gb back.

Open the Computer Managment app from control panel; There, under "Storage" in the left panel chose disk managment.
You should see your disk drives on the top right panel, and their partitions on the bottom right. The partitions you already see in "My Computer" will be marked with their letters, while the space you dedicated on ubuntu should be devided in two or three partitions marked "Unknown" (or something like that).
Right-click on them, delete, then create a new partition on the resulting empty space, which you'll be able to use without other problems.

This is what I see.

Is there any way I can merge those 70gb into my Second Disk partition or something?

You can use some third party partition managment program for this.
If you don't have any, I'd recommend the free GParted (http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php) (live CD).
Relatively easy to use, and it does the job.

I think you need to use something like Partition Magic to merge it into your existing partition.

Don't you have 50 GB of junk you can archive onto the new (ex-Ubuntu) partition to free up space from your Windows partition?
