Looks like we know now why the Cylons behave so badly as a species.
They're only as good as their operating system!
Take a look at this screen capture on the Gizmodo technical web site (http://gizmodo.com/393426/cylon-baseships-run-windows-xp).
(Cinematically, the special effects department made a boo-boo.)

Think about it. Bill Gate's Microsoft Windows does share a lot of similarities with Gaius Baltar's Command Navigation Program. Backdoors that let in computer viruses, for example.
