Any other city-builders/city-destroyers among our number?

It's awesome. I just got SimCity 4, and one of the disasters is steerable meteors.

Actually building cities is for the lose. What you do is take the demo cities and DESTROY THEM. Or, have fun with Terraforming!

I've played Simcity 4 and love it. Destroying cities is fun, but that gets boring sort of like killing Pikmin on the GC. What is really cool, at least as far as I'm concerned, is getting down to managing the economy, making sure the infrastructure is adequate for the needs of the people, and expanding the city.

Oh yeah, I destroy cities all the time.

Oh wait...were we talking about video games?

There's nothing more fun than teasing with my god complex by destroying a city.

You might want to play the Civilization series then...planet > city.

There was a time in the mid-nineties when SimCity 2000, SimCopter, and Streets of Simcity all interoperated. Drive or fly through your city!

SimCopter was really cool but Streets of Simcity sucked.

Ah, the good old days ...

And all of those features are in SimCity 4, FYI.

BTW, I was too lazy to find my copy of Civilization II, so I downloaded FreeCiv the other day.

DAMN this game is addictive. It should come with a warning label.

*fires up DOSbox*I remember I started humming the SimCity theme when I had a little too much to drink...

I remember me and my gf were really into SimTower for awhile, but the version we had made making 5-stars anti-climatic.
